They are 12 inches square without the tags. One side is a soft and fun flannel hippo print, and the other side is made of super soft Minky fleece. In between the two layers of fabric is a layer of fluffy, soft batting. There are 4 “tags” or ribbon loops on each edge of the square blanket. I choose ribbons to match the colors in the blanket--pink, yellow, gray, and black and white polka dot.
